And it is red and black with Budweiser logos, which I could live without but hey, if it's free, it's for me! My sister in law purchased the original windglider as is shown in the coolmtnbiker048 post. After a few years of use it developed several leaks and I eventually threw the hull away but I still have the whole rig including the mast base.
Windglider For Sale
What we have is the inflatable hull with canvas cover, three section mast poles and a sail. I would really like to get the rest of the kit so that we can use if for more than a floaty. I'm thinking that I would at least need the mastbase, boom and I think there may be some kind of strap that would help me pick up the sail/mast. We'd also like the sailing outfit as well. I've found some online sites with some replacement parts but not all. Would anyone by any chance know of a vendor who may carry parts or might you have any yourself? I have a call into NorthSports, Mistral as well as some emails to registered AquaGlide dealers but any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated!
Does anyone out there have the owners manual or instructional video for sale. Thanks for any help or advice.

The Windglider was chosen late in 1983 based on it being more 'one design' as the Windsurfer was made of polyethylene and its rocker could be easily changed with heat and weight on a daily basis.

A few years ago, my husband had acquired a partial WindGlider that was a promotional item for a local bar. Decked out in Budweiser motif. Someone had accidentally thrown away a gig bag with all of the parts.
The original mast base was of poor quality so I built a new one using a standard windsurfer universal joint and an aluminum tube. I also added a downhaul cleat which is much better than the original strap. The only thing I don't know is if the attachment to the board is the same on the old and new windgliders but Northsports or Mistral should be able to answer this question. There are some nice kids booms on the market that should work well with your set up.
