If you try to install the XP x64 driver, Win 7 complains that the driver is not compatible. Solution: • Download • Unzip • Edit uc03i.inf • Add the line FeatureScore = FC to the section [viagfx_3204] • Install the driver from Device Manager • Because of the changed file, the signature is not valid anymore. Simply ignore.

For several months I used Beta Build 7000 and RC Build 7100. And without any problem I installed my onboard video driver VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro - IGP. The same happened with the Build 7229. After installing the Build 7264 and then installing Build 7600, my driver doesn´t install anymore. Windows 7 said, it isn´t supported by the new OS. And it doesn´t exist any update for my driver. So, I´m using the STANDARD VGA GRAPHIC ADAPTER coming with the W7, but I can´t change the resolution.

I never noticed it put in a standard VGA driver though. About a week ago I installed something that required direct x and it [dxdiag.exe] said my graphics card didn't support it so I looked into it. I saw the standard VGA driver and decided to get the driver from abit.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. I'm gonna check VIA's website. I would really like to buy even a cheap card, but I'm still suffering the Argentinian Economic Collapse. Wish I were able to buy in USA Hey Man. I had an old PC that I use for testing and yesterday I installed Windows 7 on my old CeleronD 2.26 Ghz which has a Biostar mainborad (P4VMA-M) with an integrated VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP. As you may know, Windows 7 and Windows Vista are almost the same stuff, so I went looking for Vista drivers (which I could not find) and found myself in the same situation that you are now. Since the PC is for testing, I say what the hell and downloaded the XP drivers from biostar website; then I uncompressed them to a folder and pointed windows 7 to look in there.

If yes, where can I find both drivers to download (x86 and x64)? For several months I used Beta Build 7000 and RC Build 7100. And without any problem I installed my onboard video driver VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro - IGP. The same happened with the Build 7229.

I saw the standard VGA driver and decided to get the driver from abit. I installed an outdated driver from abit which works fine until I try play a video. It then hoses up everything and makes the system run choppy after that. Dxdiag.exe says its running and the card is recognized correctly though. So I rolled back to the standard vga.

Same with me Please help me. Similar help and support threads Thread Forum Hi, All of a sudden the Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework service is set to Manual in Services. I clean installed Windows 7 a few weeks ago and my system is clean (as far as clean goes) as in only 15 programs installed (of which 5 x NVIDIA). I use this computer for work. Drivers I have had BSOD for a while and being super busy I did not have time to look at it and get it fixed. Well Being a computer guy I assumed I could fix it myself. But with tons of research and trying to use every guide I can find I decided to try here(probably should have came here first).

Since the PC is for testing, I say what the hell and downloaded the XP drivers from biostar website; then I uncompressed them to a folder and pointed windows 7 to look in there. For my surprise, Windows XP driver worked fine on Win7 32 bit edition. I don´t know what will happen with 64bits, but at least, if you have al your information backed out, then you could try this and see if it solves your problem.

Windows 7 said, it isn´t supported by the new OS. And it doesn´t exist any update for my driver. So, I´m using the STANDARD VGA GRAPHIC ADAPTER coming with the W7, but I can´t change the resolution. So, it works with 800x400. I tried to install the driver in safe mode and in different compatibility modes, but on both ways it didn´t install the driver. I also uninstalled the driver, and then tried to install the original dirver but nothing worked.

Hi there, it's not really a discussion, I just wanna share my experience (but replies are always welcome;)! I've got an old Shuttle XPC SK21G which I use as private file server. The adapter version on abit's site says VIA P4M890 and the driver says its good up to Vista.

More Information: The section then looks like: [viagfx_3204] FeatureScore = FC AddReg = viagfx.AddReg, DefaultU.AddReg, TraypNT.AddReg DelReg = viagfx.AddReg CopyFiles = viagfx.Miniport, viagfx.Display, viagfx.ICD32, viagfx.ICD64, DefaultUHlp.Copy, DefaultUSys.Copy, VTTimer.Copy, TraypSys.Copy, TraypHlp.Copy L. As I mentioned, this hack didn't work (reliably) in my case!

Now I´m using Build 7264 x86 and Build 7600 x64. Exists the possibility em trying to install the native Standard VGA Graphic Adapter which comes with Build 7100?
